I started a recent work day a bit on the tired side, so I was scrubbing my eyes and starting to go through my emails with blurred vision when my attention was snagged by the subject line of one email: Arrested.


The fact that it was from my boss piqued my curiosity.


I opened the email to read:


"I saw on the news tonight that this guy was arrested for criminal sexual conduct – Apparently touching a kid at XXX School as a custodian."


Below was a screenshot from the file of one of our former contractors.


Ew.


Pretty sad that we have been trained to immediately check our system to see if the person worked/is working for us. Even more sad when we actually find them in our system.
